Aunt Bessie’s joins Shopitize’s unique mobile couponing trial

Mobile shopping innovator Shopitize (www.shopitize.com) today announces that Aunt Bessie’s has become the latest big-name brand to sign up and trial its unique brand-to-consumer cashback mobile couponing service.

An exclusive group of 1,000 plus savvy shoppers in Britain are currently trialling Shopitize’s unique money-saving shopping service.  These sharp shoppers will now get exclusive discounts on Aunt Bessie’s frozen Homestyle Classic and Chicken Gravy varieties.

Aunt Bessie’s specialises in a wide range of products, from their famous Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes to vegetables, savoury accompaniments and desserts. The family owned brand is now one of the fastest growing frozen food companies in the UK.

Last month, Kellogg’s and United Biscuits became the first two pioneering brands to join the trial.

Shopitize, one of the UK’s top 6 innovators according to network giant Cisco, has developed its unique mobile-couponing shopping app to make it easier for brands to connect with their customers and to reward them.

This free app, available for iPhone and Android users, enables grocery shoppers to receive exclusive offers on big-name brand goods directly on their smartphone.

All savvy shoppers need to do is visit their local supermarket and buy the products featured in the Shopitize app. Using the app, they scan the barcodes of the items on offer and then take snaps of their shopping receipts, which are then automatically processed and validated by the Shopitize mobile ecosystem. Cashback is then instantly credited to their Shopitize account.
